Boil down to"

「Boil down to」です!

********************
James: Do you believe there is something you cannot buy with money.
Mika: Absolutely. Love, happiness, friends; there are many things you cannot buy with money.
James: Okay, so you also believe people can be happy even if they are poor.
Mika: It totally depends on how you define happiness; money is, not to mention, important for us to live and be happy, but it’s not what matters the most.
James: I know what you mean, but let’s say I have a wife and children I love; I don’t think I would feel happy if I don’t have money to make ends meet.
Mika: Maybe. But if you had more money than you can spend, but you didn’t have anyone to share your success and joy with, I bet you wouldn’t feel happy at all. It all boils down to the fact that money is not the most important thing to be happy.

Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary
“to have something as a main or basic part”

See you next time!
